About the Job

The Events & Visitor Experience Expert is a senior role within the R&D (Research & Development) Center Europe at Allianz Technology. You orchestrate exceptional event and visitor experiences that showcase innovation and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders — balancing strategic event programming with meticulous hands-on execution to ensure every interaction reflects Allianz's commitment to innovation excellence.

 

What you do:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies aligned with the R&D Center's objectives, designing engaging programs that showcase innovation capabilities for diverse audiences including C-level executives and external partners.
  • Curate compelling content, coordinate keynote speakers, and continuously improve event formats based on attendee feedback and emerging best practices.
  • Manage end-to-end guest and access logistics — including invitations, security clearances, registration, and on-site check-in — ensuring a seamless visitor journey from first contact to post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate tailored R&D Center tours that highlight relevant showcases and capabilities to each visitor group.
  • Oversee PR, media relations, and VIP/executive visit logistics, positioning the R&D Center as a thought leader in technology innovation.
  • Develop and execute communication and marketing strategies that amplify event impact, ensuring consistent Allianz branding across all materials and channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Allianz Operating Entities, cross-functional teams, and external vendors — negotiating contracts and ensuring quality delivery.
  • Measure and report on event effectiveness, continuously optimizing approaches and aligning activities with broader organizational initiatives.

 

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in event management, experience design, or a related senior role, preferably within corporate or technology environments — with a track record of delivering high-profile events for diverse audiences.
  • Strong expertise in event strategy, programming, PR, media relations, and corporate communications.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills: ability to manage multiple complex events simultaneously, including budget management, timeline coordination, and resource allocation.
  • Entrepreneurial, customer-centric mindset with resilience and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive outcomes independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — confident presenting on stage, moderating events, and engaging senior executives and international audiences in a compelling, authentic manner.
  • Familiarity with event management technologies, digital/hybrid event formats, branding principles, and a basic understanding of innovation and technology topics.
  • Willingness to work predominantly on-site at the Allianz Campus in Unterföhring; strong commitment to collaboration with global R&D Center locations.
  • Fluent business-level English required; German language skills are a strong advantage.
