HEAD OF STREET PRICING MOTOR

 

The candidate would be responsible to lead, coordinate and develop a team with the duties of:

• defining the proposed street pricing strategy both for new business and renewals with the goal of improving business volumes while reaching profitability target,
• covering the full spectrum of activities regarding implementation, update/maintenance of motor pricing tariffs, discount logics definition, underwriting rules maintenance and development, renewals management for Motor business of Allianz Spa.
• Technical KPIs analysis and monitoring, ML modelling development, maintenance and governance will also be tasks under his/her own area of responsibility.

The candidate will have to interface with the senior management of the company and a series of various business stakeholders within Allianz.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

 

• Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial, Physics or Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in the Motor Insurance sector, gained within insurance companies or consulting firms.
• Experience in Motor pricing (MTPL and MOD) including understanding in pricing modelling, definition/implementation of discount logics, UW rules and renewals management.
• Understanding of the Willis Towers Watson pricing suite (Radar Base, Radar Live and Emblem) and of programming languages such as Python, R, SAS.
• Prior experience in managing technical teams with direct people management responsibility.
• Good command of Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of the Italian insurance motor market would be an advantage
• Previous professional international exposure would be an advantage
• Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools would be an advantage
• Experience in dealing with Cloud data environment would be an advantage
• Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken
• Entrepreneurial, problem-solving attitude with a proactive and result-driven working style.
• Strategic mindset in order to gain on overall vision of complex contests
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities in complex environments.
