Job role

We are seeking an experienced Operations / Delivery Manager to support the Finance Technology & IT Operations area and to support the organization through an SAP transformation. The role will focus on strengthening execution excellence and day-to-day operational coordination, ensuring smooth delivery across ongoing operational activities and transformation-related initiatives. While the role will actively drive coordination and execution, overall accountability will remain with AllianzGI.

What you will do

 

• Day to day operational coordination for SAP related Finance applications and interfaces (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW,     Datasphere, SAP VIM, Calculo, Scores)

• Coordination of incident analysis, root cause clarification, and remediation tracking with the Finance service provider (Infosys)

• Ensuring consistent follow up on operational issues, data quality topics, and interface stability

• Support of audit and compliance requests by coordinating inputs across IT, Finance, and vendors

• Preparation of major technical deliverables (e.g. architecture blueprints, technical designs, security & authentication concepts) together with the involved providers (accountability remains with AllianzGI)

• Support of integration activities and onboarding of new applications

• Review and coordination of test activities

• Support the successful delivery of changes to existing Finance applications

•Monitor and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including performance tracking and compliance reporting

•Implement and maintain operational controls and monitoring mechanisms

•Regularly review support tickets, track status, identify bottlenecks, and propose continuous improvements

•Coordinate and chair operational and status meetings with internal teams and service providers

•Prepare status reports and presentation materials (e.g. slides) for management and stakeholders
What you bring

 

 

  • A strong execution mindset, with the ability to drive progress in complex and dynamic environments.
  • The ability to structure ambiguity, manage interdependencies, and ensure end-to-end follow-through.
  • Excellent documentation skills, particularly in the context of audits, controls, and governance.
  • Confident stakeholder management across business functions, IT, external vendors, and risk/compliance teams.
  • Practical Agile experience and/or Project Management preferred.Analytical and customer oriented mindset, with a genuine interest in technology, digital transformation, and innovation (e.g. IT, automation, or GenAI).We highly welcome candidates with a genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), as these attributes are considered valuable assets to our team.



You have

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or Project Manager in Finance Technology or SAP environments.
  • Hands-on experience interacting with SAP-based Finance systems and their interfaces.
  • Solid understanding of IT governance, audit requirements, and internal controls.
  • Demonstrated experience working within outsourced IT delivery models and managing external service providers.
  • Practical experience in stakeholder coordination and communication, including preparation of management-ready materials and status reporting.
