Job description
You. Better. With Alan.
Alan is building a vertically integrated health partner that unites insurance and smart healthcare delivery into one seamless system. Our vision is to make prevention the new norm of care for all.
Our mission: Help people live in good health to 100 while helping employers feel proud, turning health benefits from a cost centre into their most valuable investment.
By connecting all aspects of care (private, public, and direct to consumer) we create the most member-centric healthcare experience, reducing claims costs while generating new monetization opportunities.
We partner with tens of thousands of companies across France 🇫🇷, Spain 🇪🇸, Belgium 🇧🇪, and Canada 🇨🇦, serving over a million members.
How we work: our Leadership Principles
Mission is the Boss — We think long-term and are methodical optimists who take risks, seeking our mission's success above all else.
Distributed Ownership — Accountable enlightened despots: everyone owns their decisions and results.
Radical Transparency — All information is accessible and written-first, so everyone can make the best decisions asynchronously.
Always Growing — Direct, positive, and caring feedback, combined with self-growth ownership.
We're looking for a Bid Manager to lead RFP responses for Enterprise accounts (3000+ FTEs).
RFP Management & Win
Organize, coordinate and oversee end-to-end response processes (mémoire technique, administrative docs, compliance, customized material, soutenance material, account based marketing document) working closely with sales, product, ops, and pricing teams.
Produce high-quality, persuasive, and technically accurate proposals
Coordinate cross-functional inputs (Sales, Product, Legal, operations, care, insurance) to ensure technical coherence of our offer.
Operate within structured bid governance (Go/No-Go, quality gates)
Own the end-to-end RFP calendar, including reverse planning from submission deadline. Run kick-off meetings, assign and track all contributor deadlines, send structured reminders, and escalate blockers proactively to ensure zero missed submissions. Manage concurrent RFP timelines without quality trade-offs.
Support sales teams in engaging key stakeholders and preparing negotiation rounds.
Contribute to identifying the Client's selection criteria and "hot buttons", and to defining the answer strategy along with Sales team
Build & Scale
RFP Library: Build and maintain a knowledge library with public sector tender managers to standardize responses and increase win rates.
Framework automation: Implement AI tools and processes to improve response quality, efficiency, and delivery handover
Collaboration: Collaborate with other tenders managers from the area to share best practices and adapt proven methodologies from their scaled tender operations.
Market intelligence: Provide competitive intelligence on how competitors respond to similar tenders.
Must have:
4+ years experience in project management, consulting or tender/bid management
Experienced in complex multi-stakeholders and multi-contributors Enterprise RFP’s (ideally with CAC40, or SBF120)
Excellent written communication
Outstanding project management: planning, stakeholder management, monitoring
Strong product / technical appetite: ability to quickly master Alan's product and translate it into compelling RFP narratives
Problem solving: ability to break down complex RFP requirements and orchestrate cross-functional collaboration to deliver
Collaborative mindset across crews and expertises
Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity & thrives under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; embraces a “no-task-is-too-small” mentality.
