Always finding the right experts for every challenge - that's our goal at FERCHAU, which is why we are looking for experienced and motivated Telecommunications Network Designers to join our team and work on infrastructure projects delivered for telecommunications operators and the railway sector.
Your responsibilities
- Analysis and processing of input data required for design works (site visits, maps, land registry data, technical conditions)
- Coordination and approvals with public administration authorities and infrastructure owners
- Participation in coordination meetings and technical workshops
- Preparation of complete technical, construction and detailed designs for telecommunications networks (including GSM R, CSDIP and railway infrastructure projects)
- Cooperation with the Investor's representatives
- Coordination of assistants and field staff
- Author's supervision and technical support during project implementation
- Reporting project progress
- Participation in improving design processes and implementing new tools and solutions

What we expect of you
- Minimum 2 years of experience in designing technical infrastructure (construction and detailed designs) - mandatory
- University degree in a technical field (telecommunications, electronics, electrical engineering, IT, energy or related)
- Very good knowledge of construction law and the investment process
- Experience with administrative approvals
- Good knowledge of CAD software and GIS environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage own workload
- Valid driving license (category B)
Nice to have:
- Professional construction licenses in telecommunications or electrical / power engineering specialties
- Experience in railway infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of railway standards, regulations and procedures
- Experience in multidisciplinary projects
- Familiarity with BIM methodology
- Experience with low current systems
- Communicative English and/or German
- Experience in international projects
