Steel Structure Designer - Modular Buildings (m/f/d)

FERCHAU Poland is looking for a Steel Structure Designer to join our team for an exciting projects in the field of Modular Buildings. If you are passionate about structural design and eager to contribute to innovative modular construction solutions, this opportunity could be a great fit for you.

This will be your future job

• Designing steel structures and preparing execution, workshop, and assembly documentation
• Performing structural calculations and FEM analyses in RFEM
• Designing and verifying steel connections using IdeaStatica
• Creating 3D models of steel structures in Advance Steel (or other 3D software such as Tekla)
• Preparing workshop and material drawings for modular production
• Developing structural solutions optimized for technical requirements, manufacturability, and project budget
• Coordinating design work with architects and MEP engineers for design clashes resolving

Your profile

• Higher education in structural engineering, civil engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in steel structure design (experience in modular construction or prefabrication is highly preferred)
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level (many projects delivered for international clients)
• Very good command of Advance Steel with the ability to create 3D models and prepare workshop and assembly documentation
• Proficiency in RFEM for structural and FEM analysis of steel structures
• Experience using IdeaStatica for the design and verification of steel joints and connections
• Ability to prepare full execution and workshop design packages, including optimization for modular production
• Strong skills in load analysis and structural section selection focused on material efficiency
