Job TitleSecurity Manager - EU, Netherlands/SlovakiaDepartmentTeam: Operations Team; Group: Solution GroupTime TypeFull timeRole SummaryManage the development and implementation of security policies and execute operational activities to prevent and reduce loss (by theft or fraud) of goods and information.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement minimum security requirements for Third Party Logistics Service Providers, Carriers, Monitoring Centers and Samsung personnel.
- Advise the local Facilities, Operations, Transport, Contracting and IT Departments on security to ensure an optimal security level.
- Develop technical, electronic and organizational security plans for new warehouse operations.
- Execute periodic warehouse, transportation, hub, office and monitoring center audits across Europe to identify security threats.
- Compose reports and advise (local) management on required security improvements based on the audit results.
- Develop training materials covering security risk and awareness and provide these trainings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Investigate and analyze security incidents to identify their root cause and implement corrective actions accordingly.
- Visit incident locations for on-site investigations in case of large incidents.
- Identify and implement security innovation projects increasing the efficiency of the European security operations.
- Lead periodic meetings with e.g. Logistics Service Providers, Security Service Providers and SDS’ Customers to review security risks, trends, projects and incidents.
- Lead the team of security representatives in Europe.
- Work according the applicable SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Bachelor or master degree
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain security
- Preferably a security degree like ASIS CPO/CPP/PSP/PCI, TAPA FSR/TSR/PSR, etc.
- Experience with the development of physical, electronic and organizational security plans
- Proven communication and pressure management skills
- Analytical skills (incl. Excel)
- A proficient level of English
- The ability to work from SDS’ regional headquarters in Delft for at least 4 days per week.
- The ability to create/manage TSR, WSR and others related to security audits.
