About the role:

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you are responsible for the daily operations in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest quality standards. You oversee the process from preparation to service and ensure that the kitchen remains clean, organized, and safe.

You coordinate, plan, and organize daily kitchen activities, including leading the kitchen team and monitoring progress. Additionally, you train and guide colleagues to improve both quality and efficiency within the team. Through your expertise and attention to detail, you contribute to an excellent guest experience and successful operational execution.

What will you do:

You ensure the kitchen runs efficiently and that all dishes meet the established quality standards. Your responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating, planning, and supervising daily kitchen operations, making adjustments as needed.

  • Independently preparing dishes according to agreed-upon guidelines and recipes.

  • Training and coaching the kitchen team to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with HACCP guidelines and maintenance requirements.

  • Managing kitchen inventory and checking invoices and deliveries.

You are a passionate and organized cook who thrives in a dynamic work environment and knows how to bring out the best in your team. You are stress-resistant, precise, and quality-focused. In addition, you have:

-Experience in a similar role.
-A completed SVH Kitchen qualification or an equivalent program.
-Excellent command English and open to learn Dutch
-Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and experience complying with health and safety regulations.
-Physical fitness for an active work environment involving walking, standing, and working in hot conditions.
-Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
