About the role:
Landal’s central procurement department supports the entire organization in managing indirect spend and professionalizing procurement processes. Following the recent merger of Roompot and Landal, we are building one strong, future-proof organization together. You’ll be part of a professional procurement team focused on collaboration, strategic growth, and innovation across multiple categories. Within the IT category, you’ll work closely with stakeholders such as IT leadership, outsourcing partners, and internal teams, serving as a senior-level sparring partner.What will you do:
As a Category Buyer IT, you will shape the direction of Landal’s IT procurement strategy. You understand the IT market, identify trends, and translate them into action plans. You are responsible for both the strategic development of the category and the day-to-day procurement operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing a forward-looking procurement strategy for IT
Leading and coordinating procurement activities within the category, including outsourcing
Managing relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new strategic partners
Acting as a senior counterpart for internal stakeholders, including IT and other business functions
Analyzing market developments and translating them into organizational opportunities
Strengthening collaboration with multifunctional teams and ensuring internal alignment
Ensuring continuity in daily operations and maintaining a smooth “business as usual” process
Building internal support for the IT procurement vision and strategy
Your primary workplace is Amsterdam, with the flexibility to work from home. For a full-time position, we expect you to be at the office at least three days a week.
This is you:
You combine strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach. You feel at home in a dynamic environment and know how to connect with people at different levels. You have a strong sense of what’s happening both inside the organization and in the market. You also bring:- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level of working and thinking
- At least 10 years of experience in indirect procurement, specifically in IT
- Experience working in multifunctional teams and with outsourcing partners
- A solid network and knowledge of the IT supplier landscape
- Solid understanding of Dutch culture and language – work experience within Dutch oriented company.
- Experience in senior-level stakeholder management
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- A proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset

A one-year contract with a one-month probation period, with the intention of offering you a permanent position in the long term.
A salary between €5,733 and €8,190 gross per month based on full-time employment*, excluding holiday allowance.
