Our client is seeking a Senior Deal Desk Analyst to support the structuring of highly complex, profitable, and compliant commercial transactions that meet the needs of diverse internal corporate stakeholders, maximize revenue performance, and enhance the effectiveness and productivity of a central digital marketing sales organization.
This role operates in a fiduciary capacity within the deal approval process, taking ownership of first-line approvals, deal structuring, and the acceleration of contract closures. The Senior Deal Desk Analyst acts as a key business partner to Sales, ensuring transactions are appropriately structured, compliant, and aligned with both customer needs and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Structure and evaluate complex, high-value commercial transactions with a focus on profitability, compliance, and customer requirements.
Manage first-line approvals within the deal approval process and drive acceleration of deal closures.
Partner closely with Sales teams to identify critical customer business challenges and translate them into optimized deal structures.
Manage the end-to-end deal approval workflow, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely execution.
Develop, validate, and present detailed business cases to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent articulation of deal value.
Draft, review, and certify complex customer contracts, including multi-element agreements (e.g. subscriptions, licenses, services, and support).
Ensure adherence to KPIs, service levels, internal policies, and governance frameworks.
Collaborate extensively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Sales Operations, Sales Finance, Revenue Assurance, Business Units, Order Management, and Credit.
Ensure full compliance with internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines.
Provide in-quarter deal status updates and executive-level reporting to management.
Evaluate existing processes and proactively recommend improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency.
Additional Responsibilities & Expertise:
Build and maintain advanced financial models to support deal structuring and decision-making.
Conduct pricing analysis and optimization to maximize commercial outcomes.
Design and support scalable deal workflows and process improvements.
Utilize CRM systems, CPQ tools, and contract management platforms effectively.
Operate successfully in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Act as a strong cross-functional collaborator with a solution-oriented mindset.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
Several years of experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk roles.
Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing legally binding commercial agreements.
Strong experience structuring complex multi-element contracts (subscriptions, licenses, services, and support).
Solid understanding of software revenue recognition principles (e.g., SOP 97-2 or equivalent standards).
Hands-on experience with financial modeling and pricing optimization.
Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
