Overview
Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University's High Impact Initiatives Department is looking for a Project Manager to join its team!In close collaboration with the Executive Director of the team, the Project Manager for High Impact Initiatives will coordinate and deliver projects in partnership with different departments across IE University. Most of these initiatives take the form of events designed to strengthen IE’s presence and engagement within the university community, the educational and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Key high-impact initiatives include coordinating IE’s graduation ceremonies, opening events for both Master and Undergraduate programs, and entrepreneurship projects such as Scale up series and IE’s participation in South Summit.

Responsibilities
Your role as a Project Manager will involve:
Project Management
- Planning, production, and execution of events that strengthen IE’s visibility and align with institutional objectives.
- Optimize project management processes by improving tools and workflows.
- Manage project timelines and resources efficiently.
- Track project performance, prepare reports, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Event Coordination
- Supervise creative and logistical processes from concept to delivery.
- Manage key events on-site, ensuring smooth execution.
Stakeholder Communication
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners (agencies and suppliers) to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
- Ensure consistency with IE’s brand identity and culture when proposing ideas or initiatives.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Must-have:
- Master’s from Top University.
- Experience of managing agencies and suppliers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Capability to handle tasks at different levels.
- Good Communication skills within the Team.
- Experience using project management tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level or above). Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Nice-to-have:
- Previous experience in higher education, innovation, or entrepreneurship ecosystems.
- Motivation to build a long-term career in event management.
- Willingness to travel.
- Experience working together with different IE Departments
