IE University's Medical Service department is looking for a Nurse to join its team!IE University is seeking a Nurse to join the Medical Service. The primary responsibility for this position is to provide top-level medical care to the university members.The IE University Nurse will report directly to the Medical Coordinator and your mission will be to provide primary care, help patients with different pathologies, carrying out health education for their day-to-day management, promoting motivation to change healthy lifestyle habits

Responsibilities
Your role as a Nurse will involve:
- Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients
- Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health
- Identify health problem and act as needed.
- Indicate the most appropriate therapy for acute processes.
- Plan and propose appropriate preventive measures for each clinical situation.
- Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions
- Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them
- Operating and monitoring medical equipment
- Educating patients on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions
- Make referral to the appropriate level of care if needed
- Monitoring the student's situation and maintaining communication with parents or guardians.
- Perform additional duties assigned.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Nursing Degree (homologated foreign titles + Collegiate in Spain)
- More than 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Experience successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
