Introduction
Responsibility for translating customer and market requirements into concrete, user‑centric use cases for a new microscopy system. In this role, you act as the central interface between users, software development, and product application. Together with the software and GUI development teams, you design an intuitive interface, test the microscope software in real‑world application scenarios, and make a significant contribution to continuous product optimization. In addition, you demonstrate the microscope’s capabilities through customer demos, collaborations, and marketing‑supporting activities, positioning it as a technologically leading solution in the market.Your Responsibilities and Duties
- Central interface between customer requirements, software development, and product application
- Identification, analysis, and prioritization of use cases across different markets and applications
- Close collaboration with GUI and software development to design a user‑centric interface
- Ensuring maximum customer value and a high level of usability for diverse user groups
- Intensive interaction with users to test and validate the microscope software
- Identification, analysis, and feedback of weaknesses to support continuous product improvement
- Establishment and maintenance of interfaces with cooperation partners
- Initiation, coordination, and successful completion of cooperation and funded projects
- Acting as the leading application expert for the microscope system
- Execution of customer demonstrations and practice‑oriented presentations
- Support of business development and marketing with application‑focused content
- Active contribution to positioning the company as a technological and application leader in the market
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Completed technical or scientific degree (e.g. biology, materials science, physics, or a comparable field)
- Several years of experience in the application, development, or deployment of complex technical systems, ideally in the field of microscopy or metrology
- Very good understanding of user requirements and application‑driven product development
- Experience in defining and documenting use cases and functional requirements
- Strong affinity for software and GUI topics, as well as for collaboration with development teams
- Strong communication skills when interacting with customers, developers, and external partners
- Experience in conducting product tests, collecting user feedback, and performing validations
- Structured, analytical, and solution‑oriented way of working
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, demonstrations, or partner meetings
