The team you will be a part of
The Accounting team establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organization's assets. Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.
This role in summary
Statutory Analyst reports to Statutory Reporting Manager, will be responsible for the preparation of statutory financial statements for a number of Beko entities and supporting the senior finance team and external consultants with statutory audit closure. The role also includes liaison with central and local audit teams for any issue resolution and complexities, whilst managing through the timely completion of the comprehensive statutory accounting process. Statutory Analyst will be responsible also for providing information for auditors and leading accounting discussions with them.
This role is located in EMEA SSC Beko Poland Manufacturing Sp. z o.o. - a business unit of Beko Europe Group, located in the heart of Łódź, nearby Łódź – Fabryczna Station.
Your responsibilities will include
Preparation of statutory adjustments and bridge workings to IFRS/local GAAP and related tax provisions
Preparation of financial statements and disclosure notes according to IFRS/local GAAP requirements
Maintenance, input, and review of statutory ledgers in the SAP system environment
Support external service providers in collecting supporting material for tax return preparation
Main point of contact and coordinator for all audit requirements
Proactive management of key process partner relationships (internal / external), regular communication, proactive issue resolution
Tax Packages preparation
Skills and experiences
Accounting experience
Fluency in Polish and English
Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation
IFRS knowledge
Experience in Statutory & Audit Processes
External Reporting knowledge, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss, cash flow and other statements for management review and the ability to review financial statements of foreign subsidiaries where required
Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data with attention to detail
