The team you will be a part of
The Accounting team establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organization's assets. Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.
This role in summary
We are looking for a RtR Specialist who will be responsible for accounting activities in Record to Report (General Ledger) Team, based in Beko Poland Manufacturing sp. z o.o. EMEA Service Center - a business unit of Beko Europe, located in the heart of Łódź, nearby Łódź – Fabryczna.
The candidate for this position should be a finance professional with a good understanding of accounting processes in the Record to Report (General Ledger) area and their source transactions and will join the team responsible for delivering accounting services to Beko entities in EMEA.
Your responsibilities will include
Day-to-day and month-end operations
Launching Record to Report (General Ledger) month-end transactions in SAP
Accrual and prepaid calculation
Preparing journal entries
Monitoring month-end closing activities
Various reports preparation and analysis
Reporting of the financial results for consolidation purpose
Processing asset capitalization / retirement
Preparing extended review and analysis of fixed asset sub-ledger
Perform bank postings
Monitoring of Invoice to be Received accounts
Processing Intercompany payments
Intercompany invoice posting and reconciliation of the accounts
Ensure RTR process meets all operational needs and ensure compliance with all relevant Record to Report (General Ledger) internal controls
Prepare and review accounts subject to the Balance Sheet review process, identify unusual items, and select the correct procedure for action
Be the first line of contact and provide replies to the queries, supporting internal & external audits
Assist with departmental projects and standardization initiatives, process improvement ideas
Minimum requirements
Minimum 1 year of accounting experience
Good knowledge of SAP or other ERP system and MS Office skills (especially Excel)
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Analytical Skills
Ability to learn and adapt to new tasks
Preferred skills and experiences
Record to Report (General Ledger) - experience would be an asset
Graduate (Bachelor) degree
You are a self-driven individual who takes the leading role
Excel advance knowledge would be an asset
Openness for challenges and flexibility in case of transition periods is required
