Reporting to the Senior Director for Communications & Government Relations Europe and in coordination with the Head of EU Government Affairs, this role designs and executes Italian governmental relations and the external communications strategy, overseeing communications and advocacy activities both at national and local levels, ensuring the company protects and promotes its reputation in Italy in alignment with Beko鈥檚 narrative, values, mission.

Main tasks:
In coordination with the Head of EU Government Affairs, develop and drive implementation of strategic corporate communication and government relations plans involving the whole presence of Beko in Italy, including executive messaging to tell a consistent, compelling and differentiated story, centered around Beko鈥檚 vision and elevate Beko鈥檚 reputation across Italy
Cultivate and enhance relationships with key central and local authorities throughout Italy, including National Governments, Parliament, trade associations, institutions and other key public stakeholders
Lead the execution for communication and outreach tactics in case of issues/crises at national level, supporting the development of crisis communications strategy in alignment with business
Lead on content generation and flow management of news/narrative to key media outlets (national and local), supervising the development and dissemination of corporate contents such as corporate presentation, press releases and press kits, videos, etc.
Lead the development of press and media toolkits for Country representatives
Evaluate, prioritize and activate external event and speaker opportunities at National level
Prepare briefings and meeting notes for senior management
Act as a liaison for external consultants and provide support for crisis management and drive community relations
Enable the right level of cooperation among functions
