The team you will be a part of
The Accounting team establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organization's assets. Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.
This role in summary
We are looking for a Finance Junior Specialist with French language to join our finance organization, responsible for establishing and maintaining accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports, and safeguarding the organization's assets.
Your responsibilities will include
Managing customer accounts daily
Managing disputes by logging them, coordinating the resolution, and clarifying any issues with the client and/or departments in charge
Cash Collection activities
Managing after-sales bonuses for customers
Cooperation with Local Finance, Sales department
Bank statement upload
Managing customer relations
Cash application based on payment advice from the customer
Account reconciliation
Write off/ bad debt postings
Preparing monthly report
Reducing levels of unapplied and unallocated cash by contacting customers for remittance advice
Look for areas of improvement in the process
Minimum requirements
Good English and fluent French
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred skills and experiences
At least 1 year of experience in a similar position would be an asset
Studies in the financial area would be an asset
Good knowledge of SAP and Excel
Ability to work within an international environment
Well-organized and Team spirit-building skill
