OVERVIEW

As part of our Early Careers Program, this is a full-time paid 6 months' internship opportunity where our interns develop the knowledge and tools needed to succeed, with mentorship provided by experienced professionals in the relevant areas and opportunities to network with major players in the industry.
The Intern’s primary purpose is to support the Project Managers in executing translation projects. This responsibility can include activities such as assessing the scope of the project, and executing translation projects, from quoting through delivery, ensuring that the client’s requests are met in a timely manner, with a keen attention to quality and cost-saving potential.
Main duties

Coordinate the completion of project steps, using standard processes and tools;

Managing project schedules for your assigned projects for each production step: translation, proofreading, quality assurance, and delivery to client;

Establishing strong relationships with internal and external vendors globally;

Working with Project Managers to ensure accurate project tracking;

File handling Ensuring all finance systems data is accurate and kept up-to-date;

Negotiate rates with external resources effectively, when applicable;

Providing status updates to Project Managers or Sales Representatives as needed.
Required skills and competences

Ability to read, analyze and interpret client requests;

Good working knowledge of English is required, both written and spoken;

Strong time-management skills and attention to detail;

Ability to work in a global team and communicate cross-functionally;

Ability to calculate figures and amounts;

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Educational level
- In pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a college or university in related field.
