Team

The Engineering & Data team builds innovative tech products and platforms to support the impressive growth of their gaming and consumer apps which allow Voodoo to stay at the forefront of the mobile industry. The Engineering & Data team plays a key role in Voodoo’s long-term strategy. It enables Voodoo to both accelerate product diversification and provide a state of the art growth-engine to distribute and scale our games. They create innovative solutions that drive growth with a pragmatic approach, ranging from simple searching to complex machine learning systems.

 Role

We are looking for a talented Freelance Senior Cloud Engineer available immediately for a 3months contract (renewable) to consolidate our Infrastructure team for the coming months.

This role can be done fully remote in France or in any EU-based country.

You will be working on highly scalable solutions, used by millions of people and will solve complex problems including challenges like scalability, high availability, performance, optimization & automation. You have experience working in fast-paced technical environments, at scale and will:

• Design and implement availability, scalability, and performance plans for the services environments

• Develop security capabilities and encourage adoption of security best practices and architecture changes throughout the company via evangelism and education

• Take ownership of automating infrastructure deployment and configuration, lead the creation of CI/CD pipelines for applications, and develop CI/CD best practices across the team

• Perform development, automation, and deployment assignments without close supervision

• Provide application development and cloud technology leadership, guidance, and assistance to other team members

 Profile

• 5+ years of Linux experience including experience with scripting, networks, storage, and release

• 4+ years in the build process and maintenance of continuous integration environment and working with AWS

• Strong understanding of the infrastructure as code and immutability principles

• Experience with high traffic, distributed systems architectures, and related tools (service discovery, config/secret management, etc.)

• Experience in any scripting language (python, bash, …)

• Strong experience with Kubernetes

• Experience in Golang is a plus

• Excellent communication in English is required, in French is preferred.

Modalities of the contract:

• 3 months contract (renewable)

• Daily rate up to 700€ based on experience

• Full remote ok (France & EU)

• 6-7y hands-on experience (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform)

• Start date: 18th May at the latest
