Plant Operations Offshore, a sub department of Technical Operations Offshore, supports the global Service business with deep technical knowledge and acts as the link between Engineering and local business units.
Our team provides high-quality support to service technicians, delivers technical troubleshooting on SCADA and Power Plant Controller systems, and ensures secure and stable operation across offshore wind farms. In addition, we offer commissioning support for new wind farm SCADA systems, helping to ensure a smooth and secure integration into operational environments.
As cyber security becomes increasingly important for the safe operation of wind assets, we provide specialized cybersecurity support to maintain a state-of-the-art security posture across all SCADA servers and connected infrastructure.
As a member of Plant Operations Offshore, you'll belong to an experienced specialist team that advances Vestas' strategy, backs Service units around the world, and upholds customer focus, operational Excellence, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Provide Cyber Security support and expertise for offshore SCADA, network, and industrial control systems
- Act as an internal cybersecurity consultant for OT network and security related matters
- Support technicians and local service organizations with secure remote access, firewall rules, user management, and network hardening & Provide on-call support during weekends as part of a rotation
- Participate in the Hotline setup to provide real-time remote support to site technicians
- Collaborate with Engineering, IT Security, and 3rd level support on security improvements
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, or ticketing systems and ensuring knowledge transfer
- Deliver commissioning support on new projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring secure and effective integration of systems from initial setup through to operational handover
Qualifications
- Solid experience in Cisco(R) Equipment, CCNA level as minimum
- Experience with industrial routers and switches from other vendors
- Familiar with cyber security standards and regulations IEC62443, NIS-2, KRITIS-V
- Knowledge in Virtualization, experience in debugging techniques and with industrial electrical systems
- Basic industrial protocol knowledge (MODBUS, IEC104, OPC) is beneficial
- Windows server and Linux knowledge is beneficial
- Professional English skills, both in speaking and writing

- Ability to work both with limited supervision and in international teams
- Well-developed analytical mindset and systematic problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments, organize and prioritize tasks
- High attention to detail and a solid commitment to quality
- Good communication skills, comfortable communicating technical updates to a large organization and to customers
- Willingness to travel occasionally and If required, work in shifts between 06:00 - 18:00 CET
- Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a passport

Your will work from one of our offices in Poland, however partially remote work can be considered. Traveling activities up to around 20% will be expected.
