Ferchau Poland is looking for a Marine Electrical Designer to strengthen our team. In this role, you will contribute to developing innovative solutions for vessels and participate in technically advanced projects within the maritime sector.

Your responsibilities

Designing and developing electrical systems for marine vessels

Preparing schematics, layouts, and detailed wiring diagrams

Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams on shipbuilding projects

Overseeing and coordinating the work of vendors and subcontractors to ensure contributions meet project timelines and quality standards

Ensuring adherence to maritime standards and regulatory requirements

Conducting feasibility analyses and risk evaluations

Performing power distribution and load calculations

Testing, diagnosing, and resolving issues in onboard electrical systems

Your profile

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Knowledge of shipbuilding industry standards and best practices

Practical experience with CAD platforms such as AutoCAD (experience with FORAN is an advantage)

Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Comprehensive understanding of shipboard power generation, distribution, and control systems
