Your responsibilities

Serve as the expert for all Airworthiness and Certification matters within the Design Organisation, including environmental approval topics

Ensure Continuing Airworthiness by analysing failures, incidents, in‑service events, and customer feedback, and by coordinating all necessary follow‑up actions

Prepare mandatory notifications to aviation authorities in cases of potential airworthiness impact

Plan, coordinate, and manage certification projects in close collaboration with the technical departments

Monitor EASA regulatory developments and assess their relevance for ongoing and future company projects

Provide technical oversight for documentation activities, ensuring accurate, compliant and complete reporting

Prepare, review, and approve deviation reports, repair instructions, and service instructions

Approve Airworthiness Instructions and Certification Reports in accordance with applicable regulations

Act as an interface between engineering teams and national/international aviation authorities

Contribute to the interpretation, application, and further development of airworthiness regulations and internal certification processes

Identify and develop solutions for complex technical and procedural challenges

Coordinate with international authorities, validation bodies and global development teams

Your profile
-
Completed technical degree (University/FH) or HTL with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a development or production environment
-
At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in the certification or development of aviation products
-
Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, especially EASA Part 21 and relevant national requirements

Solid experience applying certification specifications such as JAR/CS‑22, CS‑E
-
Familiarity with international validation principles and authority processes
-
Excellent English skills, both written and spoken

Proficient with MS Office applications

Technical understanding of piston engines and rotary engines
-
Independent, structured and analytical working style paired with strong problem‑solving skills
-
Communicative, cooperative, and solution‑oriented mindset

Willingness to travel depending on project requirements
The minimum gross annual salary for this position is 81.270 EUR. We offer above-average pay as is typical for the market, according to your training, professional qualifications and experience.
