MISSION
We are looking for a curious, technically skilled, and forward-thinking Project Leader to join our Disruptive Innovation team. This role will be instrumental in identifying, designing, and developing new product opportunities with long-term impact, in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners. The Project Leader has primary responsibility for defining, planning, tracking and managing the project they are assigned. He/she is responsible for identifying key resources and providing the direction required for meeting the project objectives.
He/she is also responsible for ensuring appropriate management, customer and supplier involvement throughout the life of the project.
Search and launch new ideas to develop new products or technology and create new business opportunities for Tolsa.
Project leaders focus on managing the project while inspiring those who work around them to create their vision.Their strategy is to motivate and help generate new ideas to achieve goals.
FUNCTIONS
Create new products for hybrib materials (organic-inorganic) technology.
Research and Development project management. Develop project scope, budgets, and timelines, and project status reports. Manage projects to strategies, budgets, and timelines. Create and implement project plan and execution. Determine appropriate time to make advancement on projects and move on to further stages. Also, acknowledge when certain strategies aren’t effective and implement change of plans. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs. Evaluate and assess result of project. Independently carry out assignments and review data for accuracy and trends and communicate any concerns
Laboratory work.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines. Lab methodology and process management. Participate in the identification of contract manufacturers for specific project needs. Lead collaboration on technical projects and technology/ technical product development. Develop policies and procedures as needed within area of responsibility. Coordinate and implement plant trials and new product start-ups. Facilitate lab, pilot plant or plant test runs.
Search, selection and request of materials and reagents necessary for your work.
Preparation of reports and analysis bulletins.
Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project.
Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. Maintain accurate project information, formulations, and specifications. Collaborate with the Quality and
Operations departments to create and review specifications for raw materials, blends, and finished products as needed. Develop documentation for new technology and development projects.
Technical support to other company departments.
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams including personnel in Business Development, Quality Control, Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance on new product development and to resolve ingredient and product technical issues. Effectively interact with cross-function project teams internal and external through written and oral communications and maintain current understanding of overall project status. Work with Operations to troubleshoot technical, formulation and processing issues during pilot plant runs.
Technical justification for financed projects and for tax deductions linked to projects.
Public Aids.
Public Aids. Arrange in-house sensory evaluations. Monitor and report on project progress. Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions

Education & Technical Skills: Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.Master’s or PhD in materials science, cosmetics, or other relevant disciplines is a strong asset.
Professional Experience: Proven experience in research and development of hybrid materials for applications such as cosmetics, drug delivery, selective adsorption, or carriers. Strong hands-on experience in laboratory environments with focus on synthesis and characterization of nanostructured, hybrid organic-inorganic, porous, or synthetic materials. Ideally, previous experience in R&T within an industrial or innovation-driven company.
Languages: Fluent English, other language will be a plus.
