MISSION
The Researcher operates within the Research & Technological Innovation (R&TI) area, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge, the development of new technologies, and the execution of strategic research projects aligned with the company’s innovation roadmap. These projects include advanced clay characterization, the synthesis of functional materials, and the development of functional modifications to enhance material performance. The role supports global initiatives by generating high‑quality research output, fostering scientific collaborations, and translating laboratory discoveries into applicable technological solutions for the business.
The mission of the Researcher is to design, conduct, and lead scientific and technological research activities that drive innovation, enhance product performance, and support the development of new materials, processes, or applications. This includes research focused on advanced characterization of clay-based systems, the creation of novel functionalized materials, and the implementation of functional modification strategies. The Researcher is expected to expand scientific understanding, publish relevant findings, and contribute to technological breakthroughs with potential industrial or commercial impact.
FUNCTIONS
Design and execute experimental research, including planning methodologies, selecting analytical techniques, and ensuring scientific rigor.
Develop new materials, processes, or products through hypothesis-driven experimentation and data interpretation.
Lead or contribute to research projects, ensuring timely execution, accuracy, and alignment with project goals.
Prepare and manage laboratory protocols, ensuring safety, reproducibility, and compliance with internal and external standards.
Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and formulate scientifically sound conclusions.
Draft technical reports, scientific publications, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay updated with scientific and technological advances, conducting literature reviews and benchmarking state‑of‑the‑art solutions.
Support technology transfer activities, contributing to scale‑up, pilot testing, and collaboration with engineering or production teams.
Participate in innovation initiatives, helping define new research lines, propose experimental strategies, and evaluate technological feasibility.

B OR C
General Education / Technical Skills: Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
Master’s or PhD preferred.
Strong knowledge in inorganic chemistry, materials science, clay minerals, or related areas is a plus.
Professional experience: 2–10 years of experience in Research environmental, R&D, depending on seniority level.
Experience in mineral and clay characterization, modification, chemical and physical treatment.
Experience in material synthesis, in laboratory experimentation, scale-up, and analysis.
Languages: Fluent English, other language will be a plus.
