Technomar Shipping Inc. is seeking a Marine Superintendent to join our dynamic team in the Marine department for Containers. As a Marine Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our container vessels.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our container fleet, including vessel inspections, maintenance, and repairs. You will work closely with the crew and shore-based teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Key responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of vessels to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Coordinate and supervise vessel maintenance and repair activities

Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies

Manage and develop relationships with external stakeholders, including port authorities and classification societies

Provide technical guidance and support to the crew and shore-based teams

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the maritime industry.

Strong knowledge of container shipping operations and regulations.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team.

Proven ability to oversee vessel operations, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Proficiency in using marine software and systems for data analysis and reporting.

Ability to develop and implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and make informed decisions.

Flexibility to travel and work in different locations as required.

Valid certification and licenses relevant to the position.
