What to expect in this role:

Lead and motivate an accounting team, fostering communication and alignment with the company’s vision and values.

Act as the go-to expert on primary accounting and VAT frameworks, guiding team members and reviewing their work where needed.

Drive and oversee key accounting projects.

Support the onboarding process of new clients.

Ensure the team delivers work to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Monitor performance, participate in setting targets, and manage workflows, workloads, and deadlines.

Mentor and support colleagues in their professional growth and development.

Collaborate with other departments—such as audit, payroll, funding, and corporate—while identifying opportunities for cross-selling.

Assess current systems and processes, suggesting and implementing improvements.

Contribute to the unit’s growth by identifying new opportunities.

Provide support to the Senior Client Accounting Manager with additional tasks as required.

ACCA qualified or equivalent

A minimum of 2 years experience in a CSP environment following achievements of qualifications

Excellent command of accounting standards, Maltese VAT and tax legislation
