Your mission
As a Firmware Development Engineer (m/f/d) you support our team in the development of innovative and powerful firmware solutions. In this role, you will work on the development and optimization of firmware for our latest products and contribute significantly to the success of our technical projects.

Dresden is a new location for us, but we see excellent opportunities there to further expand our networked development activities. The proximity to our development and production site in Berlin is an additional advantage.
Exciting tasks are waiting for you
- You are actively involved in firmware development for next-generation flash controllers and support the development of new functions
- You specialize in an area of controller hardware specific firmware
- You will work on concepts on topics such as performance optimization, reliability, etc. and their realization
- You will work closely with our test team to achieve comprehensive firmware verification and validation
- Supporting the stabilization phase of firmware releases including the analysis of test results is also part of your responsibilities
Your profile
- Degree in engineering in computer science or a related field (BSC, MSC or equivalent)
- You are open-minded and enjoy working in a team
- Professional experience in the field of embedded software development is an advantage, but beginners are also welcome
- Very good knowledge of the C programming language
- Experience with microprocessors, the architecture of embedded systems, compilers and development tools for embedded software
- Linux kernel knowledge in the areas of block device and file system is a plus
- Experience with specific host interfaces for storage devices (such as PCIe/NVMe) is an advantage
- Good written and spoken English and German skills are required
