You will be responsible for
delivering data analysis to understand the key drivers of our business, from
the macro level of key geographies, supplier types for instance down to the
individual patterns of why travelers books certain hotels and certain rates.
For decision making on our business, your analysis shall also be precise, deep,
summarized and well-articulated always with a clear and simple business
rationale.

You will deliver dashboards and reports but also new adhoc analysis
that help understand our activity, help track progress against goals, and
more strategically make decisions and drive actions.

Your analysis support our internal clients: Product Marketing,
Supplier relationship team, Sales, and Marketing Communications

You will contribute to the development of data management, processes
and tools
Data and business analysis

Gathers, interprets and analyzes data from primary and secondary data
sources using statistical techniques and provide recommendations for
efficiencies

Identifies, analyses, and interprets trends or patterns in complex
data sets

Develops, maintains and enhances recurring reports and dashboards on
our core business

Conducts specific analysis on specific products, new trends, specific
geographic markets, selected hotel chains and even client and traveller
behaviors

As RoomIt explores and even develops new markets and new offers, you
will directly prepare the business modelling of new activities. You’ll
locate and define new process improvement opportunities and measure the
related economic elements that drive commercial success and profitability.

Understands and correlates complex business issues into simple cause

Masters' level degree
-
6 months' experience in business analysis role,
preferably in both B2B and B2C environment

Ability to take responsibility for specific projects dashboards,
reports and new analysis to support the strategy director based in Paris
and the data manager and analyst both based in Chicago

Advanced mastering of Excel (or Access) and usage of multi-dimensional
data tools

Great analytical skills, strategic thinking and PowerPoint skills

Fluent in English with strong verbal and written skills

Practice of business modelling and ROI calculations

Is rigorous to get the correct answers, detail-oriented

Shows ownership, initiative, and is able to balance statistical and
financial rigor with business needs

Can work in an autonomous way with only a couple of coordination times
with manager

Is capable of compiling outputs for executive level understanding

Overall understanding of the business travel, and specifically, the
hotel industry would be a plus
