Your Job at Raus.
Before our cabins can come to life, we need the right locations – and the right partners. That's exactly where you come in.
As a working student in Expansion, you'll be part of our growth team, working 10–20 hours per week to actively identify new locations for RAUS, build partnerships, and prepare approval processes. Your work directly impacts where our next cabins will be built.
- You are the first voice of Raus for potential partners – friendly, convincing, and professional.
- You research potential new locations, properties, and hosts.
- You handle initial contact with interested landowners via phone and email.
- You present Raus and our concept and assess initial framework conditions.
- You support the management of building permit applications and coordination with authorities.
- You familiarize yourself with public building law – particularly construction in rural/outlying areas – and develop site solutions together with us.
- You document conversations and maintain our pipeline in the CRM.
- You support the Expansion Team with market analyses and site assessments.
- You prepare meetings and help coordinate site visits.
- You occasionally travel to potential locations and support on-site appointments.
- You work closely with our Expansion Team and founders.
Your profile.
- You are an enrolled student (e.g. Law, Business Administration, Real Estate, Geography, Tourism, Sustainability, Communications, or similar).
- You enjoy making lots of phone calls and approach people openly.
- You communicate clearly, in a structured and professional manner – fluent in German, confident in English.
- You work independently, reliably, and in an organized way.
- You are interested in real estate, site development, tourism, or legal frameworks around construction.
- Initial knowledge of public building law is a plus but not a must – what matters most is your motivation to learn quickly.
- You are passionate about nature, sustainable travel, and new tourism concepts.
- Class B driver's license is an advantage.
Why Raus?
- You'll experience an exceptionally steep learning curve: from location scouting to partnership building and planning law questions, you'll support real projects with immediate implementation. The work is varied, hands-on, and gives you early responsibility plus insights into expansion, project development, and approval processes.
- We work together in flat hierarchies on the next steps for sustainable, regional, and nature-connected travel. Help us create experiences for our guests that truly stick.
- You'll work in a lively, upbeat Berlin office. We guarantee flexibility in time and place whenever possible.
- We know how important time off is: our employees get 28 vacation days plus one extra day per year for charitable causes.
- Know Your Product: 3 nights per year for you and your Plus1 are on us!
- We want to grow together with you: you'll have creative freedom and real opportunities for development. We want to hear your ideas and are open to bold visions.
- Work-Life-Balance: You'll receive a DRV-Travelcard and your choice of a BVG ticket subsidy or Urban Sports Club membership… and we're constantly working on more benefits for our team.
- Never without my team: We believe we can only make RAUS better and better as a strong team. To make that work, fun can't be missing – lots of team events and an annual offsite keep things fresh and build great connections with your colleagues.
