Job description
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What you´ll build
At SAP, you’ll help shape how thousands of people stay connected. In this role, you’ll support the communications and ongoing development of SAP’s global alumni network of more than 45,000 former and current employees—a vibrant community of brand ambassadors, partners, and potential future talent. You’ll help create and deliver engaging communications for the entire alumni network as well as targeted groups based on region, expertise, or career stage.
Your work will directly support employer branding and recruiting efforts through relevant, on brand content. From coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to writing, editing, publishing, and analyzing communications across the alumni portal and social media channels, you’ll be involved end to end. You’ll also contribute ideas to improve audience segmentation, media mix, surveys, and events, while supporting backend processes such as member administration and reporting.
What you bring
At SAP, we value your unique skills, perspectives, and potential. As a Working Student in SAP Alumni Relations, you bring:
- Current enrollment as a student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences, ideally in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Social Sciences, IT, or a related field.
- A passion for building relationships and engaging with diverse communities.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms; an affinity for IT is essential, and experience with tools like Jira and/or Mural is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German skills are considered as an advantage.
- A structured and analytical mindset, combined with an agile approach to problem-solving and a proactive work ethic.
- The ability to collaborate effectively during standard business hours while being located in a European time zone.
- Working from office is not required
Where you belong
You’ll join a small, international, and agile team that believes in turning finite employee journeys into lifelong connections. SAP’s people have shaped its success for over 50 years, and the Alumni Relations team works to keep that bond strong—whether alumni return as customers, founders, partners, or future colleagues. You’ll grow your network, build useful skills, and belong to a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and fresh perspectives.
Ready to bring it, build it, and belong at SAP? Apply now.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
This is a SAP global, strategic, paid working student position that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.
