Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

Meet your team

The Value Advisory team is responsible for supporting SAP customers in the transformation of their businesses by developing justifications for technology investments through a standardized, shared service model, as well as delivering value selling activities and services at scale. Value Advisory identifies and positions qualitative and quantitative value jointly with customers and ensures this value is sustained to drive long-term consumption, adoption, and up- and cross-sell potential.

The Value Advisor brings strong soft skills and stakeholder management capabilities to closely collaborate with customers and actively shape their digital transformation. The ideal candidate should

  1. strive for continuous professional development,
  2. demonstrate a growth-oriented mindset, and
  3. have experience in Value Advisory / (management) consulting / value-based selling, including project management experience across deal cycles.

Experience and industry expertise in one or more of the major industries like Public Sector, Automotive and Manufacturing, Consumer, Retail, Financial Services etc. highly desirable.

What you'll do

The Senior Value Advisor is responsible for developing the value assessment in close collaboration with the customer and for supporting SAP Account Executives in closing relevant opportunities. The core responsibility is to clearly articulate the value of SAP solutions within the context of the customer’s transformation journey and link this value to key functional decisions (e.g. target architecture, migration roadmap).

It is essential to operate effectively in a dynamic (sales) environment, managing diverse roles, expectations, and customer requirements with strong drive and outcome orientation. Value Advisory upholds a high standard of excellence to prepare, position, and present high-quality deliverables for CxO engagements and other key stakeholders.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Value Discovery & Case for Change: Customer-specific development of transformation approaches using a value-based methodology for cloud, suite, AI, and data platform discussions
  • Design SAP Value Proposition: Identification of qualitative and quantitative value for the customer’s transformation initiatives (e.g. business case, executive value proposition)
  • Lead and deliver CxO workshops: Design and facilitation of workshops within transformation programs, for example to define AI use cases and articulate their business value
  • Support Customer Lifetime Value: Services to secure forecasted value (value realization), ongoing refinement of the (business) case, and ensuring adoption and consumption
  • Typical deliverables: Business Case, Point of View, Benchmarking, TCO Assessment, Enterprise Value Scorecard, Value Assurance / Adoption & Consumption services
  • Develop Value Advisory: Design of new services, frameworks, and deliverables to further evolve the Value Advisory offering across industries or in an overarching context

What you bring

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Value Advisory, corporate strategy, management consulting, or value-based selling roles
  • Excellent senior-level quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and the ability to derive business insights and recommendations from financial data
  • Outstanding research and communication skills, with a strong focus on synthesizing complex scenarios into clear, compelling storylines and PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong capabilities and experience in program management, facilitation, and stakeholder management, particularly in complex AI, cloud, IT, or transformation projects or deal contexts, with the ability to shape and steer the strategic direction of deals and initiatives
  • Ability to provide strategic, selective functional leadership to junior colleagues and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven customer environment
  • Broad enterprise IT knowledge in the context of complex application and infrastructure landscapes, as well as process and technology integration (SAP technologies preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on audience-appropriate messaging
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent master’s degree is an advantage
