machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.

Mission:

Your main mission as a Painting & Treatment Preparer is to prepare, treat, and finish the surfaces of metallic or synthetic parts in accordance with technical and safety standards, in order to ensure optimal quality of the applied surface treatments (paint, varnish, lacquer, nickel, chrome, etc.).

Responsabilities:

Prepare part surfaces (stripping, sandblasting, shot peening, chemical baths);

Treat surfaces according to technical instructions (application of paint, varnish, nickel, chrome, etc.);

Perform finishing and finalisation tasks (polishing, touch-ups, quality control);

Hang or remove parts from handling frames;

Monitor and control the quality of the applied treatments;

Strictly follow safety and hygiene procedures;

Operate manual, semi-automatic, automatic, and robotic equipment in compliance with technical standards.

You are responsible for:

Ensuring compliance with the EN9100 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard;

Performing rigorous self-checks to guarantee the quality and conformity of the work;

Transferring your skills and knowledge to new team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and mutual support;

Complying with safety, health, and environmental rules;

Reporting risks and applying procedures to prevent incidents.

Profile:

Education / Experience:

Education: You hold a CAP, BEP or CFPA in mechanics or an equivalent work-study qualification.

Desired experience: You ideally have initial experience in surface treatment or painting of metallic or synthetic parts.

Competencies:

Soft Skills:

You demonstrate rigour, method, and a strong sense of observation;

You are capable of following logical processes and adapting to new products and procedures.

Technical:

You are capable of performing finishing and finalisation tasks such as polishing or touch-ups;

You are proficient in using manual, semi-automatic, or automatic installations and can control the quality of applied treatments;

You understand the chemical and physical principles related to coatings and their correct application.

Languages: You are proficient in technical French/Dutch to read and understand procedures and instructions.

IT skills: Knowledge of computer systems related to programmable logic controllers is an asset.
