Independent Chef – Beach Pavilion

Imagine starting your workday with the fresh sea breeze in the air and ending it while the sun sets over the beach. At our vibrant beach pavilion in Wijk aan Zee near Beverwijk and Heemskerk in the Netherlands. Cooking is more than a job it’s an experience.

We are looking for a passionate and independent chef who loves working with fresh ingredients, enjoys a dynamic environment, and takes pride in every plate leaving the kitchen.

What will you do:

- You have proven experience working in a professional kitchen

- You stay calm under pressure and keep a clear overview

- You can work independently, but also thrive in a team

- You are available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

- You communicate well in English (Dutch is a plus, but not required)

This is you:

Every day starts with preparing your mise en place to perfection — cutting, prepping and organising everything you need for a smooth service. During service, you prepare and present dishes from our menu with precision and creativity, ensuring every plate looks as good as it tastes.

You keep the kitchen clean, organised and safe at all times, working according to HACCP guidelines. Even during busy summer rushes, you stay calm and focused. Together with your team, you create an atmosphere where guests relax, enjoy and leave with a smile.

• Salary according to the Recreation CLA: €2,843 – €3,579 gross per month (based on 38 hours, depending on experience)
