At Radisson RED Reykjavik, Front of House is the heart and soul of the hotel. As a Front Office Shift Lead (or Service Manager as we call it), you combine hands-on service with confident leadership. You lead by example, support your team in real time, and ensure every shift runs smoothly, efficiently and with the right RED energy.
You thrive in a fast-paced, social environment and are comfortable moving across different areas of the hotel. Whether leading the shift at reception, supporting in Food & Beverage, or driving the atmosphere in public spaces, you play a key role in delivering a seamless and vibrant guest journey. You will:

Lead the Front of House operation during your shift, ensuring a smooth, well-organised and high-energy guest experience

Act as the go-to person for the team, supporting, coaching and guiding colleagues throughout the shift

Be our guests’ superhero, ensuring all aspects of the guest journey and experience are delivered to the highest level

Create memorable first impressions and lasting connections through engaging, personalised service

Manage check-in, check-out and all guest interactions in a smooth, efficient and professional manner

Take ownership of the Front of House environment, stepping beyond the desk to support across guest-facing areas, including Food & Beverage when needed

Help drive the atmosphere in the hotel, bringing personality and energy to every guest interaction

Handle guest feedback, challenges and service recovery with professionalism, empathy and a solution-focused mindset

Collaborate closely with the Front of House Manager and wider team to ensure alignment and continuous improvement
