Join us as an Enterprise Risk Manager to act as Qonto's risk control tower — monitoring, challenging, and shaping how we manage risk across the entire organisation as we aim to serve one million SMEs. You'll have the widest possible view of Qonto's risk landscape, covering Financial, Credit, Operational, Fraud, and Compliance risks. You will report to Clément , who leads Enterprise Risk, Credit Risk, and Financial Risk.

Monitor risk across the board: Track Key Risk Indicators and KPIs across all risk types — detect trends, divergences, and emerging threats before they become problems.

Challenge indicator owners: When metrics deviate from targets, you engage directly with owners, negotiate corrective actions, and ensure risks get back on track. You're not a passive reporter — you drive outcomes.

Shape Qonto's risk culture: Propose new indicators, proactively identify areas needing more control, and flag activities that should be stopped. You make risk management a strategic asset, not a checkbox.

Develop the Enterprise Risk Management framework: Build and maintain a framework that scales with Qonto's growth and evolving regulatory requirements as we become a bank.

Produce high-impact reporting: Own the Risk & Compliance North Star and deliver insights that reach C-level stakeholders and inform strategic decisions.
➡️ What we're looking for

5+ years in Risk Management: Ideally in a neobank or fintech where you learned to balance banking rigour with agility. FRM certification is highly valued.

C-level stakeholder management: You're comfortable engaging and negotiating with senior leaders. You defend your position with data and conviction — not authority.

Technical fluency: Proficient in SQL and Metabase. You extract and manipulate data autonomously to build your own analyses — you don't wait for a data team to pull numbers.

Proactive risk mindset: You identify gaps before they're flagged, propose solutions before they're requested, and continuously push for a stronger risk culture.

Languages: Fluent English. French is a strong plus for communication with local teams.

Nearly 4 years at Qonto — Clément joined as Senior Financial Risk Expert (liquidity, interest rate risks, investment strategy) and was promoted to Head of Financial Risk Management in 2024, where he now leads the Credit Institution filing, ALM strategy design, and risk policy development. Before Qonto, he spent 6+ years at Bpifrance across Front Office (funding EMTN & NEU CP, hedging strategy), Financial Risk Manager, and Head of Financial and Country Risks Management. Toulouse School of Economics graduate (M2 Economics).

What does he bring to the team? Deep financial risk expertise built across public investment banking (Bpifrance) and fintech (Qonto). He values analytical rigour and fosters a collaborative environment where team members are encouraged to grow and innovate. He's navigating Qonto's Credit Institution transition from the risk side — you'll work at the centre of that transformation.
