Those in deal strategy at PwC will focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. Your work will involve analysing market trends, assessing business opportunities, and developing strategic frameworks to guide clients in making informed decisions regarding their deals. You will help clients navigate complex transactions, identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to maximise value and achieve their business objectives. Working in this area, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients in formulating and executing effective strategies to optimise outcomes in their deal-making processes.
Each year, PwC network firms聽acquire聽10-15 companies across the EMEA region. The majority of these聽operate聽in the most vibrant growth areas such as technology, cyber security, and digital consulting. To further drive PwC鈥檚 growth, the Corporate M&A team is聽seeking聽to recruit the best professionals to聽advise聽PwC鈥檚 management board. Candidates will be selected based on the best overall fit in terms of experience, skills, and motivation.聽聽聽
As a member of the Corporate M&A team, you聽will聽plan聽and execute聽corporate development聽strategy, market screens, portfolio reviews, commercial due diligence聽and post-merger integration聽or carve-out聽projects for PwC in the EMEA region.聽This includes聽the management and聽coordination聽of complex, cross-border projects聽with聽multiple聽internal and external stakeholders.聽聽
You will oversee聽deal聽pipeline聽and聽execute聽value creation聽plans, and聽ensure smooth handover from strategy and diligence into integration execution.聽
You will help PwC grow and thereby create a network within PwC, with its advisors, and with other professional聽services聽firms. Your advice will influence PwC鈥檚 market share, profitability, and return on investment.聽
**Requirements聽**聽

You hold an excellent聽university degree (Master鈥檚聽or聽MBA) in business聽administration, (business-)聽mathematics, engineering,聽natural聽or social聽sciences.聽聽

You have聽5+聽years of work experience聽across the deal lifecycle, including聽strategy聽consulting, in the strategy/M&A department of a well-known company, in the private equity industry or equivalent.聽

You聽have聽successfully delivered聽portfolio reviews, market entry assessment,聽commercial聽due聽diligence,聽and transformation or聽value creation聽projects,聽in a dynamic environment聽(preferably in the business services industry).聽聽

Your experience equips you with the tools and mindset to manage聽direct reports聽and coordinate a diverse and international project team.聽
