Purpose of the Role
To ensure reliable operation, maintenance, and compliance of all electrical systems and utilities in the plant, supporting uninterrupted production and adherence to regulatory and safety requirements.
Job Description for Instrument Officer

Hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems while ensuring compliance with GMP and safety guidelines

Responsible for execution of scheduled preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance activities

Monitor and maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and electrical distribution networks

To take plant rounds and troubleshoot abnormal observations in electrical systems

Plan and execute plant maintenance activities in coordination with cross-functional departments

Assist in developing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules, SOPs, and checklists

Daily reporting of maintenance activities and equipment status to the manager/designee

Ensure compliance with statutory electrical safety norms and regulatory requirements

Coordinate with production, stores, and inventory for electrical spares and consumables
-
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and electrical systems

Prepare, check, and review documentation such as maintenance logs, reports, and compliance records

Participate in audits and ensure adherence to GMP, GDP, and EHS guidelines
-
Coordinate with contractors and vendors for project execution, AMC, and modification work
-
Support energy conservation initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
