So what’s the challenge...
As a BI & Analytics Engineer, you will join TORA’s Technology Team and participate in designing, managing, monitoring, and securing BI and analytics solutions aligned with business requirements, ensuring efficient data management, high performance, and compliance.
Your day to day will include:

Participating in the design and implementation of TORA Lakehouse components, ER diagrams, databases, ETL procedures, reports, data marts, and other data processing/presentation modules

Exploring and monitoring BI, Analytics, Data Warehousing, Big Data, Data Science, AI & ML trends to enhance department capabilities

Proposing and optimizing data quality, timeliness, and usability through design improvements and technical components aligned with company needs

Analyzing and understanding business requirements and TORA operations to link data with real-life transactions and processes

Assessing and evaluating BI solutions from vendors, ensuring compliance, detecting risks, and recommending improvements

Contributing and enforcing Data Governance processes for data quality, availability, consistency, integrity, and security

Developing and delivering BI solutions (Data Marts, semantic layers, reports, ad-hoc analyses) in collaboration with project teams and vendors
-
Testing and supporting BI-specific UAT cycles, troubleshooting incidents, and maintaining Lakehouse and vendor-delivered solutions

Consolidating and presenting multi-source data for holistic organizational insights and decision support

Documenting and training users on BI tools, enabling self-service analytics, and responding to ad-hoc business needs
**What you need to succeed: **

BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related STEM field; MSc preferred
• 2+ years of experience in BI projects including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and support

Knowledge of financial systems and business concepts desirable

Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server), large-scale data warehouses, and reporting

Proficiency in data integration and storage technologies (Data Lakehouse, Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, ETL tools such as DataBricks, Datafactory, SSIS, Informatica)

Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD automation (Azure, AWS, Google Analytics)

Skilled in analytics and visualization tools (PowerBI, QlikView, SSAS/SSRS) and data mining tools (IBM SPSS, SAS, SAP Predictive Analytics)

Data science fundamentals and programming skills (Python, R, DataBricks)

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; team-oriented
