Partner with the Senior Manager, OTC Operational Excellence to plan, manage, and deliver Accounts Receivable (AR) services supporting Nutrien North America operations

Lead, develop, and coach a large team responsible for core AR processes, including reconciliations, cash application, AR adjustments, AFDA, unapplied cash, unclaimed property, invoicing, and related general ledger activities

Provide accounting and operational leadership during the transition to SAP S/4HANA, including coexistence with legacy systems (PeopleSoft, ARS, Hyland OnBase, SAP ECC, Oracle EBS)

Act as a subject matter expert in accounting practices, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS, company policies, and audit requirements

Drive continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities, developing action plans, and delivering sustainable results

Leverage analytical and reporting capabilities (Excel, Power BI) to provide insights that support financial accuracy and operational efficiency

Collaborate with Finance, Credit, Treasury, IT, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve end‑to‑end OTC processes

Support organizational change initiatives and ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA designation or equivalent strongly preferred

8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3–5 years in Shared Service Center

5+ years of people leadership experience, including managing and developing teams

Strong IFRS knowledge

Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA; exposure to additional ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP ECC, Oracle) and workflow/ticketing tools preferred

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and experience working with large data sets and Power BI

Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and manage change

Strong judgment, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑influencing skills

High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
