Be at the forefront of cardiometabolic innovation in Switzerland. Shape how leading clinicians understand and apply breakthrough treatments that transform patient lives!

Your new role

As Medical Science Liaison Manager East, you'll establish Novo Nordisk as the scientific leader in cardiometabolic disease across eastern Switzerland. Working directly with key opinion leaders, clinicians, and healthcare professionals, you'll bridge the gap between cutting-edge science and clinical practice – ensuring every interaction elevates the standard of care for patients living with cardiometabolic conditions.

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining productive relationships with key opinion leaders, influencers, and major healthcare institutions across your territory to achieve competitive advantage and market leadership
  • Delivering high-quality medical and scientific support, education, and training to external customers, healthcare professionals, and Novo Nordisk colleagues
  • Developing and executing multi-channel HCP engagement plans that drive meaningful scientific dialogue and generate valuable insights from clinical interactions
  • Leading the development and delivery of symposia, educational seminars, and presentations at local meetings and external conferences on topics relevant to our cardiometabolic portfolio
  • Supporting and organizing advisory board meetings, contributing strategic medical project management throughout
  • Maintaining professional and thorough use of IO Engage to document all interactions and insights
  • Collaborating closely with the Medical Affairs team and commercial field-force to ensure alignment and shared success

Your new department

Within the Swiss Affiliate, you'll join the Medical Cardiometabolic team, part of our Medical Affairs Unit. This dynamic team of medical professionals works at the forefront of bringing innovative cardiometabolic treatments to Swiss patients. The team values proactive thinking, genuine curiosity about medical innovation, and the ability to operate independently while contributing to collective success.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a scientifically curious and relationship-focused professional who thrives in a field-based role across eastern Switzerland. You'll bring with you:

  • A university degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Natural Sciences, or a related field
  • Ideally more than 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in a field-relevant role (Sales or Medical)
  • Fluency in German and English, with exceptional communication and presentation skills that allow you to translate complex scientific data into clear, actionable insights
  • A passion for science and medicine, combined with the capability to understand and communicate abundant and complex scientific information
  • A self-starting personality with high levels of ownership and accountability, comfortable working independently across your territory
  • Demonstrated ability to drive empowerment and engagement, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and maintain unwavering focus on patients and customers
  • Strong leadership competencies including the ability to drive quality decisions, enable strategy, and lead team performance
