Job Description ASML is seeking two Senior UX Designers to join its team in Veldhoven. The ideal candidates will have over 5 years of UX design experience, a strong grasp of user-centered design, and be comfortable leading user research, interaction design, and UX consulting activities in a complex technical environment. You will work closely with engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality, intuitive, and consistent user experiences for business-critical applications. Main Responsibilities 1. User Research Plan and conduct user research methods such as contextual inquiry, task analysis, and usability testing (moderated/unmoderated, remote/local). Translate research insights into personas, user journeys, and user stories. Define and track quantitative UX metrics to measure user experience improvements. 2. Interaction Design Design wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes. Apply and, if necessary, extend internal design guidelines to ensure consistency. Align designs with functional and technical requirements by collaborating with stakeholders. 3. UX Consulting Define a user-centered design approach tailored to the project’s goals, timelines, and resource constraints. Integrate UX activities into Agile team workflows, ensuring UX principles are maintained throughout the development lifecycle. Share UX challenges and best practices with peers across the organization. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, HCI, Information Science, Psychology, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of post-degree professional UX design experience. Strong ability to plan work independently and deliver against objectives. Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. Able to navigate resistance, advocate for UX, and adapt approaches as needed. Comfortable working in high-pressure, fast-changing environments. Fluent in English (both verbal and written). Eligible to work in Veldhoven, Netherlands.
