We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Network Engineer / Consultant to manage, design, and deliver advanced network solutions for a global enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in high-level and low-level design, SDN/SD-WAN technologies, data center infrastructure, and hybrid environments. This role requires a mix of hands-on technical delivery, documentation, and vendor management skills. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver end-to-end network infrastructure solutions (HLD/LLD) for hybrid and data center environments. Perform in-depth network planning, testing, implementation, and performance optimization. Troubleshoot and isolate critical network issues to ensure minimal downtime and maximum service availability. Upgrade network hardware/software components aligned with security and performance standards. Develop and present detailed technical proposals and design documentation for network projects (new or existing). Evaluate and test new systems and upgrades for scalability, security, and performance. Ensure successful operational handover and transition to support teams with proper documentation. Collaborate with internal teams and manage vendors for resolution of network-related issues and escalations. Proactively monitor bandwidth, connectivity, and security to ensure SLA compliance. Technical Skills Required: Strong expertise in LAN, WLAN, SDN, and SD-WAN technologies. Deep hands-on knowledge of: Cisco Routers, Switches, and Wireless Cisco ACI Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) Cisco and Fortinet Firewalls Infoblox DDI Experience designing and implementing network solutions in hybrid (cloud + on-prem) and data center environments. Familiarity with network security best practices, redundancy, and failover design. Proven experience in creating professional-level documentation and design artefacts. Soft Skills & Additional Requirements: Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation abilities for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Experience with operational handover and documentation processes.
