Python / AI Engineer Experience - 6+ Years Role Summary The Python / AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy scalable Python-based solutions with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence and data-driven applications. The role involves building AI/ML models, integrating them into enterprise systems, and supporting end-to-end delivery in a secure, production-grade environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services for AI and data-driven use cases • Build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning and AI models for enterprise applications • Develop data pipelines and feature engineering workflows to support AI/ML models • Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms, APIs, and downstream systems • Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance using engineering best practices • Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and platform teams across delivery lifecycle • Support model deployment, monitoring, and tuning in production environments • Adhere to enterprise security, compliance, and governance standards Mandatory Skills & Experience (Must Have) • Strong hands-on experience in Python for backend development and data processing • Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and model evaluation • Experience with AI/ML libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas • Experience building and consuming REST APIs / microservices • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred) • Knowledge of SDLC, Git, and CI/CD concepts Desired Skills & Experience (Good to Have) • Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or prompt engineering • Exposure to MLOps practices (model versioning, deployment, monitoring) • Experience with Azure AI/ML services or Azure OpenAI • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Background in enterprise-scale, secure production systems
