The Data Analyst / Data Engineer (Governance & Quality) will analyze, document, and improve enterprise data quality across multiple systems. The role combines investigative analytics, hands-on SQL development, and operational support to ensure data is accurate, consistent, explainable, and compliant with governance standards. The consultant will support reporting, audits, and data remediation initiatives, collaborating closely with business, IT, and governance teams to improve data trustworthiness and operational efficiency. Requirements Strong hands-on SQL skills in Oracle and PostgreSQL Solid understanding of relational data models Experience with multi-system data flows and integrations Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills High attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to communicate complex data topics clearly Experience with data governance or data quality frameworks Exposure to MDM / reference data systems Experience supporting audit or compliance activities Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python) Structured thinking and investigative mindset Comfortable working with complex, imperfect, or inconsistent data Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and governance controls Strong collaboration across IT, governance, and business teams Fluent English required
