We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Analyst with strong expertise in process analysis and optimization within the banking domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing current ("as-is") business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and designing improved ("to-be") processes that enhance operational performance and reduce manual effort/FTE requirements. This role requires close collaboration with technical SMEs and automation teams to derive and implement solutions that streamline workflows, improve productivity, and support the bank’s transformation objectives. Key Responsibilities Analyse as-is business processes across banking operations and document findings. Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and areas for improvement to reduce FTE requirements and increase operational efficiency. Design and propose optimized “to-be” processes with measurable business benefits. Collaborate with technical SMEs to define and implement business process automation solutions. Work with business stakeholders to validate proposed process changes and ensure alignment with business goals. Develop detailed process documentation, workflows, and solution specifications. Support implementation, testing, and post-implementation reviews to ensure successful adoption of new processes. Must-Have Skills & Experience 5+ years’ experience as a Business Process Analyst, ideally within the banking/financial services domain. Strong expertise in business process mapping, process re-engineering, and automation. Experience with Lean/Six Sigma, BPM tools, or process improvement methodologies is highly desirable. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams to design process automation solutions. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently in a fully onsite environment in Amsterdam. Fluency in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
