Azure Data Engineer Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a Data Engineer working within the Azure ecosystem. Strong hands-on experience with: Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks PySpark Azure DevOps Python Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and big data technologies. Experience with performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines and Spark jobs. Familiarity with Delta Lake, SQL, and data modeling concepts. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect. Experience with other Azure services like Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Blob Storage, or Azure Key Vault.
