Description**:**
As an intern in the J4 Logistics Information Systems Section (J4 LISS) at HQ JFC Brunssum, you will participate on a real-time project in support of LISS to enhance J4 comprehension of Functional Area Service (FAS) logistics database requirements to better improve the efficiency of its use.
About** the internship:**
During this 6-month programme starting 1 February 2027 until 30 July 2027, you will join the J4 LISS Section. The J4 LISS Section is looking for an intern to provide administrative and practical support to LISS in preparation of an upcoming NATO exercise, by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of FAS reporting processes.
The** ideal candidate**** **must:
be enrolled and undertaking a Bachelor's degree in the field of Data Science, Computer Science, Data Management, Software Development, Information Technology, Operations Analysis/Research, Logistics or similar;
-
possess knowledge of international organisations including the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation;
-
be able to effectively plan and organize the working time;
-
have the ability to work under pressure;
In addition, we are looking for candidates having the following desirable skills:

strong computer skills (e.g. ECDL) including use of Microsoft Office package (including SharePoint and Database Management);

be dynamic, self-motivated and personable with an ability to work in a team environment with people from diverse backgrounds.
Stipend:
You will be compensated at a fixed taxable rate of € 1477.30 (2026 rates), per month based on 37.5 hours internship work hours per week.
We will also compensate you for travel costs to/from university to HQ JFC Brunssum (within set cap rates).
Interns will be entitled to 2 days of leave for each full month (of 37.5 hours a week) of internship.
