The GIP Coordination department (Service Team) of MSIG Europe SE is looking for a skilled Multinational Account Executive to join our dynamic team and play an important role in supporting underwriters around the globe and manage our fronting insurance portfolio.
This role offers great opportunities to apply your acquired insurance expertise and to grow in additional lines of (fronting) business and their respective aspects of international insurance solutions.
The role includes expertise in support and operations in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurances, inwards and outward (re)insurance, Good Local Standard market solutions, compliance, licensing and compulsory insurances within fronting and international insurance programs.
The primary focus of this position will be to support the Property & Casualty underwriting departments as part of our centralized Service Team, to ensure the effective management and growth of our Multinational insurance portfolio, and high level servicing for network business partners.

Role Overview

Support underwriters by providing underwriting, regulatory and compliance information and advising on how to structure multinational insurance programs (pre-bind). Perform account administration and implementation of multinational program (post-bind).

Pro-active manage a portfolio of multinational accounts for various Lines of Business.

Pro-active manage a fronting portfolio for network business partners.

Work closely with local (partner) service offices around the world and underwriters to ensure that services standards are met and, if possible, exceeded.

The role involves working closely with all relevant departments, to ensure resolution of accounting and processing problems and to ensure that all administrative activities in connection with international programs are carried out in time and to a high level of quality.

Prepare timely processing instructions to the service centre, credit control, reinsurance and local offices of MSIG Europe and network business partners, so that premiums can be debited and policies issued promptly, ensuring accurate policy records are maintained on relevant systems.

Develop service plans and service reporting documentation.

Support MSIG Europe business development activities on Global Insurance Programs (GIP).
Key responsibilities

Ensure that all Global Insurance Programs (GIP) and fronting policies are implemented to agreed service standards and corporate guidelines.

Supporting MSIG Europe business development on GIP.

Account handling and support underwriters on relevant account/activities and acting as a primary point of contact.

Ensure program overviews are prepared, maintained and completed in accordance with the Multinational Team’s standards.

Provide advice and support on compliance and license matters, staying abreast of regulatory changes and ensuring our multinational insurance program remains compliant across various jurisdictions.

Oversee compulsory insurance requirements within international programs, ensuring all obligations are in scope.

Building relationships with underwriters, brokers counterparts (e.g. Multinational Broker Teams), MSIG Europe offices and network business partners.

Work within the framework of MSIG Europe ethical and service values.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, policy issuance, claims handling processes and financial processes.

Assist where required with ongoing projects that are identified throughout a given year for better improvement to the Multinational Team.

Incidental work that maybe required to be completed that maybe outside the scope to day to day work requirements.
Qualifications and Experience

Commercial drive, customer oriented, enterprising and communicative.

Bachelor working and thinking level combined with relevant professional certifications.

Proficient in Dutch/French/English. Knowledge of other languages is considered an asset.

Proven track record in supporting multinational insurance and reinsurance, with a strong background in commercial Property & Casualty.

Knowledge of international insurance regulations, compliance, and licensing requirements.

Communication and relationship-building skills, capable of effectively engaging with broker counterparts, underwriters and network business partners.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex insurance structures and design tailored insurance solutions within the Multinational domain.

Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-border functional team environment.

Proficiency in insurance software, CRM tools for efficient client management and having excellent MS Office skills, preferably outstanding in Excel. Punctual in data accuracy.

Understanding of Multinational insurance and reinsurance concepts, including inwards and outward reinsurance, fronting insurance, and compulsory insurance regulations. Knowledge of commercial Property & Casualty underwriting principles on Good Local Standard level.
