Oversee the work of employees during the shift, providing guidance, support, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Continuously assess and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and productivity. Lead the sorting process for last mile delivery, ensuring that parcels are accurately sorted according to delivery routes and schedules. Ensure that all sorting activities are completed on time and that all packages are sorted correctly to prevent delivery errors. Address and resolve any issues that arise during the sorting process, such as delays, misrouted packages, or equipment malfunctions. Uphold high standards of quality in all sorting and distribution activities, ensuring that company guidelines and customer expectations are met. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of sorting and distribution operations.: Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, issues, and improvements, and present findings to senior management. Explore and implement innovative technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements: 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position Experience in a managerial position in logistics or operations management. Knowledge of sorting and distribution processes. Ability to manage a team and motivate employees. Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and operational procedures. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Willingness to work in a shift system. Fluency in German and English.
