Position Title: Oracle Developer Position Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Location: Madrid, Spain Contact: Franci Hernandez | +49 (0) 89 23 88 98 55 Scope of the role: The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database architecture, and will work closely with stakeholders to implement client-specific data transformation and reporting solutions. Role & responsibilities: Develop and maintain Oracle-based Data Warehouse solutions, including staging, transformation, and reporting layers.. Work closely with business analysts and clients to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design and implement complex SQL and PL/SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Optimize queries and improve performance of stored procedures and database jobs. Perform bug fixing and issue resolution within the Oracle Data Warehouse environment. Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy throughout the data pipeline. Functions:Knowledge & skills required: Thorough knowledge of JIRA, bug tracking and monitoring is MUST Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming. Experience in working with large-scale datasets and complex data transformations. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., ETL, star/snowflake schema, data marts). Experience with performance tuning and query optimization in Oracle. Proven ability to analyze and debug data-related issues in production and non-production environments. Fluent English and Spanish – essential for daily communication and local coordination.
